Tadamun Social Society (TASS) is a non-profit and non-political organisation striving to develop Somalia into a prosperous and educated nation. It was set up as a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) in 1992 and has since built up a wealth of experience in social development projects to enhance literacy, health, infrastructure, social morals and emergency relief. TASS works directly with the line-ministries of the Puntland Government, international NGOs and the United Nations.  Eighteen years on, through our extensive and diverse projects, we have achieved a sense of community in Somalia.  With education at the core of our development structure, we are running seventeen primary and secondary schools, which cater over 10,000 students.  TASS opened the first ever Tuberculosis (TB) Centre in Puntland that has cured over 5,000 patients so far. Following severe droughts in the last two decades, we have built water wells for Somali people to enjoy a fundamental right in life. Our main office is located in Bosaso of Bari region and has area offices in Garawe of Nugal region and Galkayo of Mudug region, outreach in Baran of Sanag region, Qardo of Karkar region, and Lasanod of Sool region.
