Who We Are

The year 2009 was unique and a landmark in Tadamun Social Society's record in its humanitarian commitment to support the vulnerable, needy and destitute in Puntland state of Somalia. The joy in each and every child, youth or adult whom we touched in a small or big way is our happiness. Our hearts are always with the needy that we have devoted to serve and ensure they enjoy their rights and privileges.Our humanitarian interventions were timely given the apathy from local and international donor interventions. We have upped our services in the years and established a professional service that is changing lives of entire communities. However, the situation is dire as security across Somalia deteriorates plucking out communities out of their comfort at home. The almost daily influx of immigrants is creating humanitarian crises and calls for well-coordinated emergency responses from the global actors.

I extend my gratitude to all staff who through dedication and hard work managed to steer successful implementation of all planned activities in the envisaged time frame. They made the right decisions at critical moments and were able to ensure TASS overcame various challenges. Finally, let me thank donors who sacrificed their resources and funded programmes that meliorated the many agonies of the Somali people who are most vulnerable and have to face insecurity and poverty on a daily basis.
